Yout Insertion Instructions for wikinutters

Well a while back LBH a wikinut member created a quick little poem for the purpose of inspiring others to create Star Pages here at wikinut.com

And one of the ways to earn points to earn a Star Page is to insert a Youtube video for these are currently the only available ones for insertion, but no matter there are millions of them to choose from.

So this is what you're looking for when you find a video you wish to insert into your write. a short link and not an embed code. 

Note: This is just an example I made up.

This is the common short Html link version, but we need the long link version of this Html link.

The Long Link is not always completely visible or even there so you will need to select all the text to find out and copy it and then paste it in a word pad or simply insert the text insertion tool and right arrow key over to the end of the link.

The Insertion Tool looks like a capital letter { I } with top bars or an I beam when seen from the end. You use it when creating text or copy in your word processors. All you have to do is click one time in the Long Html link's box and it will show up and then right arrow key it to the end.

Be sure you are Selecting only the caricatures after the = sign.

You select by placing the insertion bar or your mouse pointer at the beginning of the text that you need to select. While holding down the left mouse button drag the mouse arrow over and to the end of the text you wish to select if you are new to this it may take a little practice to select things correctly.

Copy by clicking you right mouse button to open the selection box and choose Copy click on the text copy. You may Have to then scroll up or down through your section box to find the word Copy you select it with the left mouse button.

Once this is done return to wikinut and right click within the section box that you wish the video to appear in. you right click your mouse button to open the selection box and choose Paste place the mouse pointer where you wish the video to appear.

When you find the common Short Html link which is the very first one you will see at Youtube Html links. if the Long Link was not there in the link box you will find at the right hand side of it the words other options this will give you three more options. a HD link, a­ Start at: link with a time selection box, and a Long Link option this is where you will be able to see the identifier code which is everything after the = sign within the Long link

There are instructions on how to do this! They are found in wikinut.com's Advance Formatting Guides. When you get a Message from the Monitors that ask if you know about the guide, click this html link and then bookmark the page that it takes you to.

This will give you a quick and easy way to find this page Advanced Formatting Guide, repeatedly when you need to be reminded of these steps.

The simple instructions here at wikinut assumes that you already know how to Copy and Paste and Select text. I do not Ass-U-Me that you do, because if you did you would already be doing so.

Sometimes different browsers will complicate your efforts. So the best thing to do is to select the other options at the end of the short Html link at Youtube. Which will give you the three options mentioned above HD link, a Start Link, and a Long Link and then you will select the Check box in front of the long link .

This will open the Long Link where the short link first appeared. Mouse over the link box with you pointer, because your mouse will copy whatever text that it is currently resting in or on. So be in the link box it is rather small and often changes the color of the text to let you know you're selecting correctly.

This change of color often works like a highlighter marker that kind that you would buy from a store. You know the Yellow highlighter, but this could be any color on your computer mine is light blue.

Now let Me try and Give You the Simple Version of What is Explained Above

1. Go find the Youtube Video that you wish to share within in your write.

2. Click the share option this should give you the short Html link

3. Select the little text that says other options at the right hand side of the short Html

4. Select the Checkbox Long Link

5. Either use the copy and paste method or select all and copy into a wordpad or word processor             document until you can copy the text after the = sign then copy that text only

6. Return and place the mouse pointer where you want the video to show at within your document at       wikinut

7. Place the yt in front of the text you just copied within brackets as explained in the Advance guide [yt]     before with no gaps or spaces and [/yt]at the end with no gaps or space this should give you this

    Okay two things Not to do! You do not link this again with the linking tool here at wikinut or you will       get a broken double post.

At the beginning is only [yt] the ending and pay close attention is / yt like this [/yt]

A Simple Copy and Paste Explanation

Cutting removes text information don't do it when inserting Youtube videos.

So there are simple little tutorials on Copy and Paste, along with Selecting text. Find one of these options and stick to it.

There are a few different ways to do it, but you must seek them out. Now I expect to see more Youtube videos and Pictures in your writes that you newbies write. If you need help leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do.

Without a Brand, You will not Communicate Your Message well of who/ what or how You are to the General Population! Or To your Niche Marketed Buyers!

You and Your “Brand” Are You and It Aligned for Success?

This connection between owner/, company/, brand/, and employees they

are both parts that represent each other equally. They are a key factor in establishing success.

There is tolerance by your audience for very little. Anyone or anything that doesn't live up to what it is supposed to be. What you are hoping to present can become questioned and/or challenged.

People are smart, although we live in a dumbed down world today. They are still smart in certain areas and they will pick up on many things that don’t seem to be right between owners and their employees, and their brand.

Without a Brand, You will not Communicate Your Message well of who/ what or how You are to the General Population!

Be they potential Customers, Fans, Readers, Supporters, and/or Investors.

Branding is not about a Logo, a Slogan or an Image only! It is a process of extracting what you are as a Business, a Person, and/ or a Company. And what it is that you do for your customers. And then communicating that with one complete, unified identity.

There are Many companies who have and still do this very well. Allstate ever have a problem? Don’t Worry You're in Good Hands with them. Like a good Neighbor Statefarm is there! These Slogans along with their Jingles Paint Precise Pictures. And they reassure the general Population not only a target section of It they project an Image like no other does or now can.

Proper branding is critical for your long term success. A lot of people think of branding as the Logo, the Slogan, or The jingle. But in reality, branding is managing the thoughts and feelings of your customers.

To Paint this Image and ensure them that you are the one capable of meeting their needs. Is setting yourself up for failure. Your Brand is like a Medal of Honor or a Badge of Authority. If it is not, you need to figure out where the gaps are and how to address seal the Up!

This will not always be easy, as the "customer is always right", but therein lies your “Proof” your best indication of whether or not you are hitting that mark with your brand.

This may be hard to hear, but you are not 100% in control of our brands. They come into their own, through your performance Past, Present, and Future and your reputation to holding to that Performance.

What you are in control in is doing everything that you can! And doing your best to keep it aligned with who you wish to be at all times. Hey Nobody is perfect Here in our little shrinking world. Not a single one of us!

Let me explain. What you are really responsible for is setting the direction for what your brand is painted as. Everything that you do and say will be digested by your audience, and their impressions are the Bread and Butter and the Pudding of what your brand image is suppose to be. For without fail The general population will let you Know one way or the other, if they see what you think you project.

Creating a brand is never something you do once! It is not a set it and forget it deal. And letting it run its own course could be detrimental to the life blood of the Business, Company, or yourself. 

Rather, it is a constant process of keeping your in touch with your Niche customers as well as projecting to the rest of the General population. Your Tomorrow Customers that could afford you yesterday, but for damn sure wish to today.

Through your conversations, marketing, and research. If you are not "hearing" what people are saying about your brand. Take off your rose colored glasses! They will prevent you from seeing the true picture and knowing if something is wrong or not. then you must seek out what is not being perceived and received correctly.

Every move that you make will judge you by What, When, Where, and How your audience sees that Painted Picture. That you have been altering ever so slightly Weekly, Monthly, and/or Daily. Daily! Hourly on the Web whatever it Takes!

To stay Young and Beautiful in the general Population's eyes. It may not be fair, but it's the way we humans work. And once a foul taste is left in our mouths about something, it's very difficult to remove.

How Do you Turn Twitter into Sales?

Choose a niche market and generalize It into your brand. Make everyone want even though they don’t even know what it is yet. As we have never heard of an IPad before and I still don’t know what they can do yet exactly. There is incredible power in being seen as an expert. Experts are not good at everything, they’re amazing at one thing.

People are looking for experts, not to Step up into a Twitter Strategy for their business. These things are still fairly new to the general Population, but they won’t be for much longer. Promote with Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and whomever, whenever, wherever, and whatever they are currently doing. While always looking forward to and for the next new trend.

The People of the General Population are Sheep or Followers they are Sheepeoples!

Set up your Key Messages before they see them coming! Start discussions with your Niche Followers find them RIGHT Now Today! People that will increase your revenues! People who are the trendsetters like to say something about everything in a general manner of factness.

Small business branding, is no different Bull Hokey it's much more personal when the weight falls on the owner. His traits, personality, and genuineness will present themselves in every arena of the business.

This is how small business relationships are built and maintained. It allows for a rap-pore and a trust to be established. Which of course we all know by now is at the core of every successful business relationship. A relationship that exists, but is not often seen.

Remember that you cannot choose a brand that is different from what and who you are. Know who you are! As a Person, as a Business Person, and as a Company Owner. Know what you can offer to your audience. For if you don’t you’ll find yourself Lacking.

You are never separate from your brand, but It can be separated from you. Everything that you are and you stand for, should be infused into your brand.

The branding is you. And once you've made that impression, you and what You, your Business, and your company stand for! This will never be forgot.
