Creating a Simple Company Mission Statement

Every Company and/or Website Needs Several Pages. An About Me/ Us Page, a Contact Page, a Homepage, a Landing Page, a Squeeze Page, and along with these they should have a Mission Statement.

Today I Created a Simple Little Web-site's Mission Statement for my PW&OSfStSM Website

This is the first one I have ever created and it is an example that I will post upon my Contact Page.

When building a website you will need several pages. And they should be rather easy to read short and to the point, they should be.

But we don't see too many of these at least not on my website. so here is the Mission Statement I created in about ten minutes off the top of my head for my Website today.

PW&OSfStSM Mission Statement

We here at JMK’s Babydog and PW&OSfStSM

We firmly believe in Fair Play and Family Orientation. We believe the Whole World is one big dysfunctional Family. We are seeking to bring her together and heal her wounds, as well as enlighten as many of her children as we can.

We believe this can be done through the Golden Rules of Christianity and Love. We are Dreamers and we are Believers of many things. For all things are possible unto us through our Father GOD in Heaven.

We seek to share the Knowledge we have gained and will try to gain better and increasing knowledge as we grow. We will Share what we gain where and whenever possible, and as easily and as affordable as we can.

We are starting with Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man. This is our first real time learning website and Its Beta test. And we have much to learn as we try to earn here on the World Wide Web.

Poetry Writes and Other Stuff is dedicated to furthering and encouraging Would be Poets and Writers, to create and share their works with the world. For we all have something to contribute. Father has given every last one of us; a gift.

If it is only a smile and we wish to share these as well. By sharing our thoughts and dreams with these Poets and Writers. By providing a learning website which teaches them to seek and to find. As well as encourages them by leading the way, by showing them how.

PW&OSfStSM is an actual attempt from the Owner and CEO of our company. To create and maintain this Learning and Encouraging Website. He does this mostly by example through the Site Itself. The site is up and working and is in a state of constant evaluations or change.

The site currently has a total of four Blogs, three Domains, or Web addresses, three pay Per Click Publishers and a variety of passive and interactive income streams. Ad Space rentals, Adsense from Google, and Affiliations along with Clickbank too.

Our aim is to show and lead the way for these Would be Writers and Poets as well as Songwriters and Producers of armature films, an Artist with their works of art to Just Do It. To get out and try to do it on the inter-net.

We wish to inspire Do Bees, those who are a little Old Schooled and those who wish to be a little New Schooled. We are all a creation of God’s and we are Wonderfully and Mysteriously made by Him and we wish to propagate that message.

And promote Peace and Goodwill among the Children of this world. Our World the only one that we currently have. We seek to Earn as we Learn and to Grow as we Go. We are looking forward to the day that Somebody will come and Play with us. The day that we all will play well together and cherish the time that we do have here with our Mother, our World, our Earth, and our Home.

This is a simple thing to do. And it will give your readers and potential customers a bit more of your focus or your company's focus.

You create things like mission statement's to connect with or to reveal a side of yourself and/or company that your visitor and customer wouldn't normally see. You should give then, Honesty and track-able beliefs, morals, and/or standards that you truly believe in.

Remember you are hoping to build a relationship with your customers and readers. You are building up their trust and your reputation. You/ Product and your Brand are the first things a consumer ever connects with. Then maybe your beliefs and or content. If they don't trust you, they won't trust your content. And trust must be earned and maintained.

Here your Mission Statement, It sets the standards that you hold yourselves too. And believe me people do read these things. I never did, but I do now.

How I Make Money Writing Poetry Online for My Blogs and Website

Making money online writing poetry is difficult, but it is very much an achievable Game Plan. Like any money making system on the Internet, it takes dedication and hard work and lots of time. If anyone tells you any different and/or offers you a get rich quick scheme, that involves profits for / from your poetry. They are borderline nuts or insane. They are lost in the world of fantasy.

The World Wide Web is a global internet and so the chances of people reading your poetry is in fact higher; than if you published them in a karzy poetry contest, magazine, or a local newspaper. After all, our goal as poets, should be; above anything else: to have our poems read. By as many people as possible!

With this in mind, I will describe the way I show off my poetry to a wide audience whilst at the same time enjoying a stream of residual income that grows as I go and allows you to earn as you learn and hone your craft as a writer/poet.

I want to clearly say to you now, that this is purely a way to make a little extra money which will build up over the weeks, months, and years to come. And as you continue to produce your body of works. In turn this will eventually make a nice contribution to your overall earnings.

Collect some of the poems you've written over the years and sort them into subject categories. For example, you might have a dozen poems about your dog or cats, or maybe some old love poems you wrote when you were in High School or College. Take your time and weed out the good poems from the not so good and place them accordingly at different sites.

Now you can form them into a PDF document which can later be made into an E-book. Decide on a title and write an introduction relating to the poems. Finalize the basic structure, contents page and order in which the poems appeared on the Inter-net. Place in some clip-art or full page black and whites or full color photos.

Before you do anything else with them, set them up in either a small website or Blog. Come up with a suitable website address and title which is keyword rich in relation to poetry and other interests. It is vital that you have the keywords right and somewhere in the web address itself. This will help people find your page or site. More so than it would if you had something like Myhomepage.com

Put a few partial poems on this website or Blog so visitors can see what your poetry style is like and whether they want to read more. I call them Teasers on my website and Blog. place the full poem with the many Pay Per Click Publishers out there Like Hubpages.com, Triond.com or wikinut.com etc. etc.

Create your first Ebook from these that you have then place at these PPC Publisher site on your Website and Blogs. Set a price for your Ebook of these writes; which is on the low side. You can always raise the price when visitor numbers increase. 

There are many sources of free E-Book makers as well as software and shareware tools. That you can use to make an E-Book.

Join some affiliate programs, Amazon, Adsense by Google, and Clickbank place their ads and links around on your websites pages and on your Blog's sidebars. This will add a further long term stream of passive and residual income earnings. 

Don't go overboard with this or people will be turned off and see your website and Blog posts as adverts only, with some poems stuck in between.

When you get a few web-pages and a month or two of Blog posts, you are ready to promote it to the world. Show them your poems and poetry Ebooks. 

Join forums, and Social Networking sites and tell as many people as you possibly can. Study some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques which will help you get picked up by the major search engines. Learn Your Keywords and learn them well.

As time goes by and It must in order for you to grow. The number of people signing up to your E-mail list should begin to increase. Now you can create further categories for your website by using your poems and writes. 

When you find new E-books, Products, or Services. You can then try to promote them at your websites and Blogs. You can then notify your mailing list. If they trust, know, and like you and your opinions enough they are more than likely to buy from you and your sites rather than another persons website. Plus they will tell their friends about you and your sites.

Again, the more people you can get to join your list, the more people will buy your future recommendations on Products, E-books, and Services. 

This is a long term strategy and one that will not make you rich overnight. However, if you love writing poetry and get excited by the prospect of a great many people reading your work. And also want some extra money from your poems, this is a perfect marriage of the two.

If you do it right and persevere, your earnings will increase steadily month after month, year after year. You will Earn as you Learn and Grow as you Go! If you keep on learning and growing. You will really have nothing to lose but some spare Time.

Getting a Home Page Analysis helps you understand how a site's homepage appears to both Search Engines and Site Analyzers. And How it compare with other Sites.

You can find a free Site Analyzer with a simple search. I had one done and this is why I am writing this write today.

The Analysis told me I had good Titles and Headlines and sub-headlines, but lacked accurate and quality Meta Tags. This just confirmed what I already knew and I will be working on these meta tags shortly. I have made some time in the near future for this, but I still have many more important and pressing things I need to get done first.

The Title of a Web-page Appears In Search Results as a Link to Your Page

The title of a web-page appears as a clickable link in your potential visitors searches. These search results will become their bookmarks.

A descriptive, compelling home page title with relevant keywords can increase the number of people visiting your site. This is the Sole purpose of your Sites Title as far as your Visitors are concerned.

Search Engines on the other hand view the text of the title tag as a strong indication of what the page is about.

Accurate keywords in that title tag can help the page rank better in search results. Why is the length important? I could only take a Guess, I truly don't know. But the experts say it is and my tests seem to confirm their opinions.

A title tag should have fewer than 70 characters, including spaces. Major search engines won't display more than that.

The title tag of your home page (and any other pages on your site) should not contain the site’s domain name or URL. These will appear near the title in search results, so use your 70 characters to tell people what the page is about.

The title tag should not contain any HTML, because it will be displayed incorrectly or not at all. Make sure you use a title tag on your pages. Make them of a good length and use as many of your available characters as you can.

The Title of My Site's Homepage Is “Poetry, Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man”

I have weak Meta tags I need better Meta Tags to describe that my site is a real time learning site or Journal site and is meant to be a place where others can learn by my examples and by what I am and have done to increase my traffic and what are the things I am doing to try to develop some income streams with my writes and poetry.

I am working on what tags I will be using here soon to do this. I even developed an Abbreviation of sorts for the Site I own, and I am working on a Logo for it too.

The Abbreviation is PW&OSfStSM if a search is done on this alone in the near future it will start pulling up all my writes because I am using it as a Tag now.

Search Engines Often Use the Meta Description of a Web-page to Describe it in Search Results

The purpose of a meta tag is to describe that particular pages content. Use your headlines and subheadings to do this, along with the very first paragraph as well.

The meta description tells searchers what a web-page is about. It is often displayed below the title in search results, and helps people decide if they want to visit that website.

Search engines will read 200 to 250 characters, but usually display only 150, including spaces. The first 150 characters of the meta description should contain the most important keywords for that web page. Using fewer than 50 characters could mean you’re not saying enough about the page.

Keywords are the words that appear most often or describe the pages content the best remember your Pen names and signature sign ins and offs, and any specialized Quotes Mine are Somebody come and Play, Grow as you Go and Earn as you Learn these are common phrases and not specific to my site alone, unless other devices are used.

Abbreviations such as PW&OSfStSM, my pen name Sinbad the Sailor Man or Keywords for the site such as Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man they will bring up many others before my site or any particular site, these are qualifiers for the search terms, and they will bring up my site quite regularly now by themselves.

The Main Heading is an Important Sentence or Phrase On Your Web-page

The main heading is an important sentence or phrase on a web page that quickly and clearly tells people and search engines what they can expect to find there.

My site is Poetry Writes & Others Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man, if the page talks or mentions Ads, Adsense, Advertising, etc, etc. these will be tags for that page. Mention them in a sub-headline or the very first paragraph. along with the Page's Title Heading

All my pages Titles are the Same. Poetry Writes & Others Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man This allows the search Engine a common Pick from my content now by the sub title or the most promotable paragraph all My sub Headlines Begin with Teaser / Subject matter or a draw or hook phrase at this time as I am still adding relevant content to all my pages thus far.

In most cases, a web page should have just one Headline and heading. Using multiple Headline and headings is okay if that is a logical way to organize the page, but they should be used sparingly.

Just because search engines can view multiple Headlines and headings, it is often seen as an attempt to signal that all the content on a page is equally important, a tactic that's seen as an attempt to game the Search Engines Algorithms. Search engines look for a Headline and heading to determine what a page is about. Human visitors do, too!

The Headline and Headings Appear on the Webpage Itself, Unlike the Page Title, Which People will See in the Search Results.

The Headline tag (which contains the very first headings) is usually listed first among the other heading tags for a page. None of the major search engines, however some will penalize a site for listing to many headline tags ahead of the first tag or actual title.

The Headline headings for a page should be different from its title. Each can target different important keywords for better SEO results.

You can see below how most search engines will display this site's home page in search results. The title is used as the link to the page, and the meta description appears below the title.

You and Your "Brand" Are You and It Aligned for Success?

Without a Brand, You will not Communicate Your Message well of who/ what or how You are to the General Population! Or To your Niche Marketed Buyers!

You and Your “Brand” Are You and It Aligned for Success?

This connection between owner/, company/, brand/, and employees they

are both parts that represent each other equally. They are a key factor in establishing success.

There is tolerance by your audience for very little. Anyone or anything that doesn't live up to what it is supposed to be. What you are hoping to present can become questioned and/or challenged.

People are smart, although we live in a dumbed down world today. They are still smart in certain areas and they will pick up on many things that don’t seem to be right between owners and their employees, and their brand.

Without a Brand, You will not Communicate Your Message well of who/ what or how You are to the General Population!

Be they potential Customers, Fans, Readers, Supporters, and/or Investors.

Branding is not about a Logo, a Slogan or an Image only! It is a process of extracting what you are as a Business, a Person, and/ or a Company. And what it is that you do for your customers. And then communicating that with one complete, unified identity.

There are Many companies who have and still do this very well. Allstate ever have a problem? Don’t Worry You're in Good Hands with them. Like a good Neighbor Statefarm is there! These Slogans along with their Jingles Paint Precise Pictures. And they reassure the general Population not only a target section of It they project an Image like no other does or now can.

Proper branding is critical for your long term success. A lot of people think of branding as the Logo, the Slogan, or The jingle. But in reality, branding is managing the thoughts and feelings of your customers.

To Paint this Image and ensure them that you are the one capable of meeting their needs. Is setting yourself up for failure. Your Brand is like a Medal of Honor or a Badge of Authority. If it is not, you need to figure out where the gaps are and how to address seal the Up!

This will not always be easy, as the "customer is always right", but therein lies your “Proof” your best indication of whether or not you are hitting that mark with your brand.

This may be hard to hear, but you are not 100% in control of our brands. They come into their own, through your performance Past, Present, and Future and your reputation to holding to that Performance.

What you are in control in is doing everything that you can! And doing your best to keep it aligned with who you wish to be at all times. Hey Nobody is perfect Here in our little shrinking world. Not a single one of us!

Let me explain. What you are really responsible for is setting the direction for what your brand is painted as. Everything that you do and say will be digested by your audience, and their impressions are the Bread and Butter and the Pudding of what your brand image is suppose to be. For without fail The general population will let you Know one way or the other, if they see what you think you project.

Creating a brand is never something you do once! It is not a set it and forget it deal. And letting it run its own course could be detrimental to the life blood of the Business, Company, or yourself. 

Rather, it is a constant process of keeping your in touch with your Niche customers as well as projecting to the rest of the General population. Your Tomorrow Customers that could afford you yesterday, but for damn sure wish to today.

Through your conversations, marketing, and research. If you are not "hearing" what people are saying about your brand. Take off your rose colored glasses! They will prevent you from seeing the true picture and knowing if something is wrong or not. then you must seek out what is not being perceived and received correctly.

Every move that you make will judge you by What, When, Where, and How your audience sees that Painted Picture. That you have been altering ever so slightly Weekly, Monthly, and/or Daily. Daily! Hourly on the Web whatever it Takes!

To stay Young and Beautiful in the general Population's eyes. It may not be fair, but it's the way we humans work. And once a foul taste is left in our mouths about something, it's very difficult to remove.

How Do you Turn Twitter into Sales?

Choose a niche market and generalize It into your brand. Make everyone want even though they don’t even know what it is yet. As we have never heard of an IPad before and I still don’t know what they can do yet exactly. There is incredible power in being seen as an expert. Experts are not good at everything, they’re amazing at one thing.

People are looking for experts, not to Step up into a Twitter Strategy for their business. These things are still fairly new to the general Population, but they won’t be for much longer. Promote with Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and whomever, whenever, wherever, and whatever they are currently doing. While always looking forward to and for the next new trend.

The People of the General Population are Sheep or Followers they are Sheepeoples!

Set up your Key Messages before they see them coming! Start discussions with your Niche Followers find them RIGHT Now Today! People that will increase your revenues! People who are the trendsetters like to say something about everything in a general manner of factness.

Small business branding, is no different Bull Hokey it's much more personal when the weight falls on the owner. His traits, personality, and genuineness will present themselves in every arena of the business.

This is how small business relationships are built and maintained. It allows for a rap-pore and a trust to be established. Which of course we all know by now is at the core of every successful business relationship. A relationship that exists, but is not often seen.

Remember that you cannot choose a brand that is different from what and who you are. Know who you are! As a Person, as a Business Person, and as a Company Owner. Know what you can offer to your audience. For if you don’t you’ll find yourself Lacking.

You are never separate from your brand, but It can be separated from you. Everything that you are and you stand for, should be infused into your brand.

The branding is you. And once you've made that impression, you and what You, your Business, and your company stand for! This will never be forgot.
