Pre-Fab Websites Beware!
Making Your Website's Traffic Earn Its Keep
I wanted to create this article from my own experience as the owner of a Website Traffic provided Prefab Store! To benefit those who are stumbling around with a Prefab Website and their sales promises and give some insight as to what improvements you might make to your website(s).
Time after time I see individuals using Pre-made website’s or Buy Website Traffic for their site. And they seriously expect to rank in the Search Engines while raking in the profits. Just like that, really?
Let me add that if it were just like that! I'd have a thousand of them myself. As a past owner of one of these On-line Pre-fab stores. I would not have to sell anyone to get my Website Traffic, or so I to believed. That I could just download my newly purchased, Pre-designed site. A site for you that's ready "Out of the box". A Website(s) that they would send the traffic to. I too believed that I would sit back, make sales and rake it in, but this is not the case! I am here to tell ya. It is not the Case!
Well, maybe in a perfect world this does work, but not this one or at this time. There is more involved. In order to Profit from a Website. Traffic is key, without “It” there is nothing ! No Sales, No Ranking, and No Money. I have heard from visitors that they have done extremely well from purchasing a Cheap Pre-fab Website with Traffic supplied. I say Prove it to me! Show me the Money!
Creating Traffic for Your Website
I have heard from ten times as many of those who have or had not benefited at all from their efforts to Increase their Website Traffic with these Pre-fab sites. I get so I can tell by viewing these websites and upon their setting It up. If It will do well for traffic, or just what kind of results they will get. The successful Website(s) always seem to have the same common traits, in common. Some of those traits I will be sharing with you here in this article.
Tip #1. The Site's Appearance – Make sure you have an attractive site. One that is not hard on the eyes and is of a mild background color; with coordinating color tones. Be careful Not to overload your pages with ads or make them too busy with movable text, busy bees. Those crazy smileys or flashing brain busters. I hate those things. The Site should be easy to read, relaxing, and quiet. With text that is at least 14 points in size, with H1, H2, h3, h4 headings and subheadings. And as many High quality pictures as you can relate without overloading the page.
These two Headings and their styles should vary in size, text and color; Slightly. From one to two points, shades or styles. They should closely resemble one another. If you are unfamiliar with this concept as well as the sizing of, the colors of, or why they should be slightly different. Just look around at the other Top Dog sites and you will soon begin to notice this is almost always the case.
Why? I guess we have become accustom to a need of variety.
And look up some of their Keywords definitions on the Web. Check out their pages under an editor, study their HTML codes! If you have your own website you should take the time to do this task too, as well as learn some basic HTML coding. As this, it will add to your search engine ranking skills.
When the search engines spiders check your site. They note the variations in text colors, boldness, and styles. You will find your sites ranking increasing as you use a variety of these techniques.
Add use or create some short videos as well (less than three minutes long) these seem to help as long as they are explaining details, or entertaining, and not just a sales pitch. Videos are really easy to produce these days. You can use free programs like Microsoft Movie Maker or find some Open Source programs as well.
Or purchase a reasonable Flip Cam product. There are many available today. I have a Flip Cam, but no Windows Programs. So I must use my friend's Window System to Upload and then my Linux System will allow me to move them around, by the way of the On-line Program's program.
Make Sure That You Don’t Have a Confusing Website!
Tip #2. Navigation – Make sure that you don't have a website that is confusing and too difficult to navigate.
Keep everything in order and on their perspective pages. Use internal and external links from page to page. Use Hypertext links within your content to ease you viewers into your sites navigation.
And this to, aides you in Back linking your site internally. For most viewers are not seekers unless they are prompted to be. Building external navigational links is also another way to increase your search engine ranking.
You do it the same as with Hypertext linking that is a link to the specific page and/or pages on your site. So now you have a dual purpose and/or reason for using hypertext links in your content, for navigation's internally and externally.
Hypertext Links are Commonly Blue, but they don't have to be. It is just common that they are.
Speaking of navigation, if you are designing your own website. And it is more than a few pages in length be sure to create a Site-map. The search engines and their spiders can navigate, these unless you disallow them.
They'll discover where these links are located within your site.
This Site Map helps them rank all of your important pages. Or the ones that you want indexed. Site-maps can be created for free Online and they are a very easy thing to create, you can start by searching the web for creating a Site-map.
Tip #3. Multiple Income Streams
I can not stress enough how important this is when you are paying out of your pocket to get your Website's Traffic. Or to get your clients and/or customers to increase their visits to your sites and Its pages. Be they Squeeze pages and/or Landing pages. You may need to pay to promote your Site's traffic.
Now when they are viewing your website, if you are offering other products and/or services you have just increased your chances tremendously of a sale, a lead, and/or a click on your ad space rentals or Adsense ads.
In today's Internet marketing schemes having a multiple income streamed site should be your goal and an easy accomplishment, but be sure to take the time to find the right products and services. Those that compliment your Website(s) and their existing theme and/or themes. But be careful not to have too many unrelated themed niches in any One site.
Once your client and/or customer (visitor) arrives at your site. They have become a captive audience. As long as you can Hold them there by your content. For they were guided there by the specific category of traffic wording that you have chosen.
Even though or even if it's not your main product they are interested in. They could very well see something else that catches their eye (interests). And Bingo heres a Sale and there's a Sale or click and/or lead!
Remember clicks add up they don't sustain you for years and then one day they do. Keep in mind a good supply of traffic will deliver; Targeted Viewers to your website. Through the correct Keywords and Anchor Text that you supplied the Search Engines with your Site Maps and Hypertext links.
Then it is up to you and your Website's Content to make the Sale or Hold them (slow them Down) there long enough for your ads and affiliate ads to make their sales pitch.
These are just a few of the tips I can give you today that may set your website apart from the rest. And at the same time may give you an edge to make That sales pitch or Sell a service/product.
Hopefully your own product or service.
